Description

Lifepak CR2 semi-automatic defibrillator

New to the range, the Lifepak CR2 defibrillator is a reliable and user-friendly device which offers ClearVoice technology that detects background noise and adjusts the audio, ensuring voice prompts can be heard in noisy environments. The Lifepak CR2 is designed to enhance visibility and provide clear, intuitive guidance during an emergency. It has easy-to-read icons and labels on the front and inside the device, making it simple for users to quickly identify key actions, such as the placement of the electrode pads and administering a shock. The defibrillator carries out daily, weekly, and monthly self-tests, as well as each time the device is turned on, ensuring it's always rescue-ready. The CR2 defibrillator includes a USB port for easy data transfer, allowing a quick connection to a computer to download event data. Upon opening the lid, the device powers on automatically, eliminating the need for manual on/off switches and ensuring immediate readiness.

Lifepak CR2 defibrillator key features:

  • Semi-automatic shock delivery: When advised, the defibrillator will prompt the user to administer a shock with the press of a button.
  • Layered design: Easy to follow bold graphics on the device, both trained and untrained users know how to begin.
  • ClearVoice™ technology: Detects background noise and adjusts tones and voice prompts to ensure they can be heard clearly in noisy environments.
  • LIFEPAK TOUGH™: IP55 rating for challenging environments.
  • Readiness indicator: Bright green LED that flashes every six seconds to indicate the defibrillator is ready for use.
  • Metronome and CPR coaching: Quickly sets an effective pace and audibly guides users by providing prompts that advise correct technique and depth.
  • Child mode button switch: Dual adult and child pads delivers reduced energy and CPR guidance appropriate for children, without having to change electrodes.

Creating a nation of life savers

Defibrillators save lives. For the 30,000 people who have out-of-hospital cardiac arrests ever year, quickly receiving CPR and an electric shock from a defibrillator gives them the best chance of survival.  If a defibrillator is used within four minutes it can increase the person’s chances of survival by three quarters. This is why getting defibrillators into workplaces, communities and public spaces is so important.

You can help to make the UK a country where more people survive cardiac arrest by learning CPR and getting a defibrillator for your local community or workplace.
